Thursday July 31:
2pm-7pm West end Park gate open to admit Vendors and reserved campers
8-10pm Open Jam on stage for all bluegrass musicians
Friday August 1:
11am-6pm: West end park gate open to admit reserved campers 1-6pm: Musician sign in/entry for competitions at host camper
4-7pm: Open Jammin’ on stage for all bluegrass musicians Sign up for band scramble at host camper
4-9pm: Food available at park pavilion, offered by Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce
8-10pm: Bluegrass Music provided by: admission by donation to the Bluegrass in the Park Fund (at host camper) to help defer expenses
Saturday August 2:
8-11am: Pancake Breakfast at pavilion
10-11am Musician entry for competitions at host camper Sign up for band scramble at host camper
12-9pm: Food available at park pavilion, offered by Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce
1pm: Banjo Contest
1:30pm: Fiddle Contest
2pm: Guitar Contest
2:30pm: Mandolin Contest
3pm: Bands posted for Band Scramble at host camper
4pm: Band Scramble on stage
5-7pm: Bluegrass music performed by:
admission by donation to the Bluegrass in the Park fund to help defer expenses
7:00pm: Contest winners announced, prizes awarded
8-10pm: Bluegrass Music by: The Douglas Family admission by donation to the Bluegrass in the Park fund (at host camper) to help defer expenses
Sunday August 3: 10am-11am: Service by Gospel Music by
A Few Rules and Some Information: 1. The hosts are not responsible for any type of personal injury. The hosts are not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen property. 2. Keep the grounds clean. A dumpster is provided for your convenience or take it with you when you go. Please leave the grounds clean and tidy. Thanks. 3. Alcohol is not provided at the Bluegrass in the Park Festival. Several Taverns are within walking distance for your convenience. Any use of illegal drugs or underage alcohol consumption will not be tolerated, the proper authorities will be notified and you will be asked to leave. No Refunds. 4. Absolutely No ground fires! 5. We are all here to have fun. If any person becomes annoying or obnoxious they will be asked to leave. No Refunds. 6. Pets must be on a leash at all times and never left unattended. Cleaning up after your pet is mandatory, thank you. 7. Showers are available at A Win-Sands Hotel, just north in Atlanta, at the cost of $5.00 per person. 8. Restrooms are available in the pavilion building at the west end of the park. 9. Camping fees are payable at time of reservation. No refunds. 10. No dumping of sewage or gray water allowed. Any dumping of sewage/gray water will result in being asked to leave, no refund.
11.This is a Family Festival. Watch out for the youngins at play, no cussin or spittin in front of the women folk, keep the moonshine consumption moderate so the law don't come. |
